Overview
- The practical exam window applies to Class 12 students placed in the compartment categories and begins Wednesday, July 29 for sessions running through August 4.
- Eligible students must contact their school or allotted examination centre by July 27 with a provisional marksheet and admit card to get their practical schedule.
- CBSE Regional Offices will appoint external examiners and supply practical answer books while schools must appoint internal examiners and are forbidden from hiring external examiners themselves.
- Regular candidates will sit practicals at their schools and private candidates at their allotted theory centres, with Regional Offices required to arrange alternate lab venues where facilities are lacking.
- Schools and centres must upload awarded practical marks to the CBSE portal on the same day the exam is held and those uploads will be treated as final, increasing the need for prompt and accurate grading.
