Overview
- The Board published subject-wise sample question papers and official marking schemes on its CBSE Academic portal, with the notification issued on September 21, 2026.
- Students and teachers can download PDFs for dozens of subjects—reports list 61 entries for Class 10 and 78 for Class 12—directly from cbseacademic.nic.in.
- CBSE said there is no change to question-paper design or assessment for 2026–27 and reiterated the pass mark of 33 percent per subject and the 75 percent attendance eligibility rule.
- Each sample paper shows question types, section-wise mark distribution, general instructions and marking guidelines so students can practise, self-evaluate and schools can align classroom assessment.
- The formal board date sheet has not been issued; a tentative timetable is expected late September and exams are anticipated in February–March 2027, so candidates should follow official CBSE notices and ignore unofficial dates.
