CBSE Releases 2026 Class 10, 12 Admit Cards for Private Candidates

Students must verify hall‑ticket details to avoid entry issues at the February–April board exams.

Overview

  • Registered private candidates can download hall tickets now from the official portals cbse.gov.in and cbseit.in.
  • The board exams run from February 17 to April 9, 2026, with reports noting a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
  • A printed admit card is mandatory for entry to the examination centre and serves as the candidate’s identification.
  • Admit cards list personal particulars, roll number, subject‑wise dates, centre details, theory and practical components, total marks, and passing criteria, and students should report any errors to CBSE regional offices promptly.
  • Admit cards for regular school‑enrolled candidates will be issued through their schools, and CBSE has warned families to avoid unrecognised universities by verifying status via UGC resources.
