Overview

• The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the 2025 board exam schedules for Classes 10 and 12 on its official website, cbse.gov.in.
• Class 10 board exams will run from February 15 to March 18, while Class 12 exams will span February 15 to April 4, 2025.
• The datesheets were released 86 days ahead of the exam start date, a significant improvement in advance notice compared to previous years.
• Exams are designed to avoid scheduling conflicts with competitive exams and ensure adequate preparation gaps between subjects.
• Around 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to participate, with practical exams beginning January 1 for regular schools.
