CBSE Readies Class 10 Phase 2 Results as Release Time Remains Unannounced

QR-verified provisional marksheets will be accepted for admissions until schools issue original certificates.

Overview

  • Phase 2 exams were held from May 15 to May 21, 2026, and results for about 6.68 lakh students are widely expected to be declared imminently though CBSE has not given a date or time.
  • Once announced, scorecards will be published on CBSE result portals (cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in) and delivered digitally through DigiLocker and the UMANG app to ease website congestion.
  • The provisional digital marksheet will list subject-wise marks, grades and pass/fail status, include a QR for verification, and is valid for immediate Class 11 admission until schools issue original hard copies.
  • CBSE’s revised two-exam system means the higher mark between Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be recorded as a student’s final Class 10 score, and students should have roll number, school number and admit card details ready to download documents.
  • Students are advised to keep DigiLocker or UMANG accounts active, check official CBSE channels for the declaration, and verify every detail on the downloaded marksheet so schools can resolve any discrepancies before originals are issued.
