Overview
- Exams will run from February 17 to March 10 for Class 10 and from February 17 to April 9 for Class 12, with most papers scheduled from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
- The final timetable is posted on cbse.gov.in as a downloadable PDF that does not require login.
- CBSE says the schedule was finalized about 110 days before the first paper, enabled by timely List of Candidates submissions from schools.
- In alignment with NEP 2020, CBSE will offer two board examinations for Class 10 beginning in 2026.
- To prevent clashes with JEE (Main), NTA will require applicants to enter their Class XI registration number, and CBSE structured the timetable to avoid overlaps across more than 40,000 subject combinations for about 45 lakh candidates in 204 subjects, including students in 26 countries.
