Overview
- The online correction facility, which opened on Monday, June 15, allows candidates to edit a limited set of fields until Thursday, June 18 and will not accept changes after that deadline.
- Corrections must be made on the official CTET portal at ctet.nic.in or via cbse.gov.in by logging in with the application number and password and submitting a confirmation page.
- Editable items include name, parents' names, date of birth, category and PwD status, paper and Paper II subject choice, Language I/II, correspondence address, institution/course details, and preferred exam city.
- Candidates are advised to review entries carefully, download the confirmation page after submitting edits, and note that CBSE will next issue city slips and then admit cards ahead of the September 6 exam.
- The CTET qualifies teachers for central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas, so errors in application data can cause problems during document verification and hiring.
