Overview

  • The CBSE post-result grievance mechanism now requires students to first obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets before proceeding to mark verification or re-evaluation.
  • Class 10 students can apply for scanned answer sheets starting May 21, with mark verification beginning on May 28; Class 12 applications open May 27, with verification starting June 3.
  • Fees for the process are Rs 700 per subject for scanned copies, Rs 500 per subject for mark verification, and Rs 100 per question (up to ten) for re-evaluation.
  • Improvement exams are scheduled for July 2025, and students must return their original marksheet to receive a new one if their scores change after re-evaluation.
  • CBSE’s revised system aims to reduce unnecessary re-evaluation requests and boost student confidence in the fairness of results.
