- - Languages will follow an R1–R2–R3 structure with a third language made compulsory from Class 6 in 2026–27, at least two languages must be Indian, Class 10 boards will test two languages from 2028, and full three-language board testing is set for 2031.
- - Mathematics and Science shift to a two-tier design from Class 9 with a common three-hour, 80-mark paper for all students and an optional one-hour, 25-mark advanced paper that appears separately on the marksheet, with the first Class 10 boards under this format in 2028.
