Overview
- All practicals, projects and internal assessments must be conducted between January 1 and February 14, 2026, with principals intensifying daily oversight from February 1.
- Marks must be uploaded on the CBSE portal the same day the assessment is conducted, and no corrections will be allowed after submission.
- For Class 12, only CBSE-appointed external examiners may conduct practical assessments, and use of unauthorised examiners will render the assessment null and void.
- Schools must ensure adequate practical answer books, fully equipped laboratories, advance scheduling communication, and appropriate accommodations for Children With Special Needs.
- No exemptions or separate practicals will be provided for students competing at national or international sports events, and the board has revised remuneration for exam functionaries while regional offices will handle shortages or queries.
