  • The first board exam will be held in February 2026, with results due in April, and an optional second sitting in May 2026 will yield results in June.
  • All students must appear in the February exam while those seeking to improve can retake up to three subjects in May, with their higher score recorded.
  • Internal assessments will be conducted once per academic session, and the marks will apply to both exam phases.
  • Special provisions allow sports competitors, winter-bound school pupils, and Children With Special Needs to choose their preferred exam window.
  • Students missing three or more subjects in the first exam will be classified as 'Essential Repeat' and barred from the May session, requiring them to reappear next year.
