Overview
- As of July 16, 2026, CBSE has not announced a date or time for the Class 10 Second Board Result more than 55 days after exams ended, leaving students and parents repeatedly checking official portals.
- The second exam ran from May 15 to May 21, 2026, and 6,68,854 candidates registered to sit with 5,25,655 seeking to improve scores and 85,285 appearing as compartment candidates.
- Under CBSE’s Best-of-Two policy the higher subject-wise score from a student’s two attempts will be taken as the final mark and the board requires at least 33% in each subject to pass.
- When published the digital marksheets will be available on CBSE websites, DigiLocker and the UMANG app and students must have their roll number, school number, admit card ID and mother’s name or date of birth ready to download them.
- The delay tests the first-year rollout of the NEP 2020 two-exam system and could affect Class 11 admissions and student planning, so candidates should monitor only official CBSE channels for the result announcement.
