CBSE Confirms No Changes to Class 10 and 12 Syllabus for 2025 Exams

The board refutes media reports of syllabus reduction and open-book exams, maintaining existing guidelines.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially denied any reduction in the syllabi for the 2025 Class 10 and 12 board exams.
CBSE also clarified that there will be no introduction of open-book exams, contrary to recent media reports.
The board emphasized that any policy changes would only be communicated through official channels such as their website and circulars.
For the Class 12 Biology exam, the theory paper will carry 70 marks, with a total of 33 questions divided into five sections.
The 2025 board exams for Classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to start on February 15, with practical exams beginning on January 1.
