- As of Monday, June 29, 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not given an official date or time for the Phase 2 result but multiple outlets report the declaration is expected any day and students are preparing to download provisional marksheets.
- CBSE published participation data showing 668,854 candidates appeared in the Second Board (May 15–21), including 266,209 female candidates, 402,643 male candidates and 2 in the ‘Other’ category.
- Subject registrations show Science had the largest number of re‑appearing students with about 474,491 entries, followed by large counts in Mathematics (standard and basic) and Social Science.
- When results are released, students can retrieve provisional digital marksheets from CBSE result portals, results.cbse.nic.in, DigiLocker and the UMANG app, while original marksheets and passing certificates will be issued later through schools.
- CBSE will apply its Best Performance policy to combine higher subject‑wise marks across the two exams, a change designed to give up to three‑subject improvements and to be watched against past supplementary pass swings of about 47.4% (2023), 29.8% (2024) and 48.7% (2025).
