Overview
- More than 668,854 students registered for the Phase 2 exams held May 15–21, 2026, with many taking the chance to improve subject scores or clear compartments.
- CBSE has not announced an exact release date or time but multiple outlets say results are expected imminently and students should watch cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
- Provisional scorecards will be available on the CBSE portals, DigiLocker and the UMANG app and can also be delivered by SMS or IVRS where enabled, but original physical marksheets will be issued later through schools.
- Under the Better Marks Rule CBSE will compare a student’s two attempts and retain the higher subject-wise marks for the final marksheet, which can change admissions prospects for Class 11 streams.
- To pass a Class 10 subject students must secure at least 33 percent in each subject and candidates should verify details on the provisional marksheet and contact their school for corrections or queries.
