Overview
- As of Thursday, Oct 29, 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education has not published the official Class 10 and Class 12 2027 date sheet and media outlets report it is expected soon.
- The board will post the timetable as a downloadable PDF on cbse.gov.in and students do not need credentials to view or save the file.
- Main board exams are scheduled for February–March 2027 and the forthcoming date sheet will specify subject‑wise dates, single‑shift timings and separate practical exam schedules.
- CBSE has already released sample question papers and marking schemes for the 2026–27 session to help students structure revision while they await the official timetable.
- About 44 lakh candidates from roughly 8,000 schools in India and abroad are affected so the timetable’s timing will directly affect school planning, travel arrangements and when admit cards and ID requirements are confirmed.
