Overview
- The training runs August 26–30 at AIIMS Delhi with about 50 counsellors and wellness teachers from CBSE-affiliated schools in the Delhi-NCR region.
- Developed by AIIMS Delhi, the programme uses the MATE-5 framework to strengthen adolescent resilience, coping skills and peer connections.
- Sessions are led by specialists in psychiatry, psychology and communication and cover the biopsychosocial model of health, nutrition and family dynamics.
- Modules include anxiety management, counselling strategies, digital well-being, parental sensitisation, impact assessment tools and peer-led support systems.
- CBSE says the pilot is being monitored through regular follow-ups, and positive outcomes could inform wider implementation across India.
