- CBSA disclosed that officers intercepted suspected cocaine on Aug. 13 and 14 at the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward after referring two U.S.-origin trucks for secondary examinations.
- Officers seized 150 kg valued at an estimated $18.8 million on the first day and 199 kg valued at an estimated $24.9 million on the second day, for a combined 349 kg.
- Drivers Gurjeet Singh, 28, of Brampton, and Abdikadir Egal, 38, of Etobicoke were arrested, transferred to RCMP custody, and charged with importation and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
