CBS Specials Head Jack Sussman Steps Down After 25 Years

Sussman to Serve as Executive Producer for The Tony Awards and The Kennedy Center Honors Starting in 2024

Jack Sussman, the head of CBS Specials, is leaving his executive role after 25 years with the company.
Sussman will transition into a role as executive producer for The Tony Awards and The Kennedy Center Honors starting in 2024.
In addition to his new role, Sussman plans to develop and produce outside passion projects for various platforms and live events.
Sussman has overseen CBS specials since 1998 and added responsibility for all alternative programming in 2020.
CBS is currently working out his replacement, with Sussman highlighting the work of his deputies, Mitch Graham and Mackenzie Mitchell.
