CBS Expands Drama Lineup with Reboots While Awaiting Strike Resolution

CBS has ordered a reboot of Matlock starring Kathy Bates as well as a Good Wife spinoff called Elsbeth starring Carrie Preston
CBS announced Poppa's House, a new comedy starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr., for midseason.
CBS is expanding reality shows Survivor and The Amazing Race to 90 minutes on Wednesdays while keeping most of its schedule intact.
Elsbeth will air Thursdays at 10 p.m., and Matlock will air Sundays at 8 p.m. following 60 Minutes.
CBS is keeping contingency plans secret in case the ongoing writers' strike continues into the fall season.
