CBR to Clear About 10,000 Weather-Canceled Driving Tests in Weeks

With reservation times steady under eight weeks in Brabant, the mid-test returns with first slots on 16 February.

Overview

  • CBR director Jan Jurgen Huizing says the agency will make up the missed exams in the coming weeks by adding sessions, including several Saturdays.
  • Car practical waits are expected to lengthen from 1–5 weeks to roughly 2–6 weeks, while motorcycle and moped candidates face longer delays.
  • On Wednesday, 2,300 practical exams were canceled, 500 went ahead, and 475 theory exams were postponed due to winter conditions.
  • As a precaution for Thursday, all practical motorcycle and moped exams were canceled, with extra exam days planned to recover capacity.
  • Exams canceled by CBR can be rebooked free and expedited, and candidates may reschedule at no cost during a code orange weather warning.
