Officers intercepted three small-package shipments on Dec. 5 and Dec. 8 at Louisville’s air hub after arrivals from Hong Kong and Taiwan. The first Hong Kong parcel held 400 Cartier watches, 26 Moncler hats, and 30 Chrome Hearts hats, while a second contained eight Cartier and 13 Audemars Piguet watches. A third parcel from Taiwan bound for Houston included 80 Rolex Cosmograph and 80 Rolex Day‑Date watches. CBP’s Centers of Excellence and Expertise deemed the items inauthentic, and officers seized them for infringing trademarks. The agency cited broader FY2025 enforcement totals of nearly 79 million counterfeit items valued at over $7.3 billion and urged consumers to buy from reputable sellers.
