Overview
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Seattle confiscated 11,134 counterfeit Labubu dolls valued at about $513,938 from an air cargo shipment on Aug. 26.
- CBP said the shipment, falsely declared as LED bulbs and originating from South Korea, will be destroyed, and no arrests have been made at this stage.

- UK trading standards teams reported fresh seizures, including more than 230 items in Sutton, over 100 in Moray, and over 600 from firms in Weston-super-Mare, citing risks such as detachable parts and potentially harmful chemicals.
- Authorities advise purchasing only from reputable sellers and checking for Pop Mart’s holographic sticker, a scannable QR code, UV foot stamp, and proper CE/UKCA safety marks, with retailers warned they face possible enforcement or prosecution.
