- CBI teams searched seven locations in Patiala and Ludhiana linked to suspected associates said to hold assets for Harcharan Singh Bhullar, seizing about Rs 20.5 lakh in cash, digital devices and more than 50 property documents.

- CBI prosecutors told the Mohali court that the Vigilance Bureau filed a parallel FIR on identical allegations to hinder the ongoing federal investigation.
- Bhullar was arrested on October 16 in a Rs 5 lakh bribe case, with earlier CBI searches recovering Rs 7.36 crore in cash, jewellery worth over Rs 2.32 crore, 26 luxury watches and papers tied to properties including around 150 acres of agricultural land, far exceeding his declared Rs 45.95 lakh annual income.
