Overview
- On Wednesday, the CBI arrested CBN inspector Adarsh Yogi and private intermediaries Sunil Jaiswal and Subhash Jaiswal in the Lucknow case.
- The arrests followed Tuesday’s detention of inspectors Mahipal Singh and Ravi Ranjan and nursing-home owner Gayasuddin Ahmad in an alleged Rs 10 lakh payoff.
- A CBI spokesperson said Rs 10 lakh purportedly handed to the officers as a bribe was recovered during subsequent proceedings.
