- Symbiosis International University reported a call from a person posing as a PMO joint secretary seeking an MBA admission, which the PMO verified as fraudulent.
- A separate letter to the Mysuru tahsildar used the same mobile number cited in the Symbiosis approach, and CBI’s Special Crime unit has begun its probe with no arrests reported so far.
