CBI Arrests HPCL Sales Officer in Chandrapur Over Alleged Rs 1 Lakh Bribe

  • Investigators laid a trap on January 17 and caught Tagale allegedly demanding and accepting Rs 1 lakh as the first installment.
  • The payment was handed over by the husband of the outlet’s proprietor, according to the agency.
  • The accused was arrested in Chandrapur and the CBI says further investigation is underway.
  • In a separate action, the agency arrested two Revenue Department officials in Anantnag on January 16 for an alleged Rs 15,000 bribe in another trap case.
