CBF Moves São Paulo vs. Internacional Back to Morumbi for Dec. 3

CBF approved the move based on São Paulo's pledge to have Morumbi ready.

Overview

  • Initially assigned to Vila Belmiro because of a run of concerts, the 37th-round fixture will now be hosted at Morumbi.
  • The CBF confirmed the change on Wednesday after São Paulo requested the switch and presented a plan for rapid teardown and turf recovery.
  • Recent events at Morumbi included Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park and Dua Lipa, with Oasis scheduled for Nov. 22–23.
  • Club directors say the concert infrastructure will be dismantled in time to ready the pitch for the Dec. 3, 8 p.m. kickoff.
  • São Paulo has been using Santos' stadium for home dates against Flamengo and Red Bull Bragantino, with Juventude also set there this Sunday; had the Inter match stayed in Santos, the club would have ended 2025 without another home game.
