Caves of Qud Exits Early Access After 15-Year Development Journey

The science fantasy roguelike will officially release its 1.0 version on December 5, 2024, with new features and a price increase.

The game has been in development for 15 years and will finally launch its full version on December 5, 2024, across Steam, Itch.io, and GOG.
Caves of Qud is known for its deep simulation and emergent storytelling, inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and Gamma World.
The 1.0 release will include a new tutorial, a final quest for the main storyline, new music tracks, sound effects, items, and 40 new achievements.
Currently available in Early Access, the game's price will increase from $16.99 to $29.99 on October 29, 2024.
Developed by Freehold Games and published by Kitfox Games, Caves of Qud has maintained an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating on Steam since 2015.
