  • An X-ray Thursday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine confirmed a non-displaced distal phalanx fracture in his left ring finger.
  • The team said he will receive treatments and further evaluation before a final call on Friday against Toronto in the NBA Cup East Group A game at Rocket Arena.
  • Allen was hurt during Wednesday’s 125-105 loss in Boston, where he still logged 25 minutes with 16 points and six rebounds.
  • Through five games he is averaging 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals for a Cavaliers team that is 3-2.
  • With his availability uncertain, Dean Wade and Larry Nance could take on larger roles next to Evan Mobley, with Thomas Bryant or two-way forward Nae’Qwan Tomlin also in consideration.
