Cavaliers' Evan Mobley Exits Game Against Heat with Ankle Injury

The All-Star hopeful suffered a left ankle sprain in the first half and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Evan Mobley sprained his left ankle during the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Miami Heat after landing awkwardly on Kevin Love’s foot.
The Cleveland Cavaliers announced at halftime that Mobley would not return for the second half of the game.
Prior to his injury, Mobley had four points, three rebounds, and a steal in 12 minutes of play.
The Cavaliers, who currently hold the best record in the NBA, replaced Mobley with Georges Niang for the second half.
Mobley is expected to undergo additional imaging to determine the severity of the injury, with Cleveland’s next game scheduled for Friday against Washington.
