Garland sustained a broken jaw during a game against the Boston Celtics and is expected to be out for at least four weeks.
Mobley will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks.
The Cavaliers, currently 13-12 and in the No. 9 spot in the Eastern Conference, have lost three straight games.
With Garland and Mobley out, the team is missing 36 points per game, their starting point guard and their best defensive player.
