Overview

• Met Police launched a murder investigation after a man in his 20s was stabbed on Rushey Green, Catford, at about 3am and later died, with no arrests announced.
• A second stabbing in Catford at Mountsfield Park around 8am left a man in hospital as detectives examine whether the two incidents are linked.
• In Islington, a 17-year-old is in a life-threatening condition after a fight on Essex Road that also left another 17-year-old injured, with a crime scene in place and no arrests.
• Watford detectives arrested three boys aged 16, 16 and 15 on suspicion of attempted murder, seized two knives and suspected cocaine during searches, and said the attack on a 34-year-old man was targeted.
