Cate Blanchett Returns to London Stage in Chekhov's 'The Seagull'

The Oscar-winning actress will perform at the Barbican Theatre for six weeks starting February 2025, reuniting with co-star Tom Burke.

Blanchett will play Arkadina, a celebrated actress navigating personal conflicts at her family's estate.
Tom Burke joins the cast as Trigorin, Arkadina's lover and a famous writer.
The production is directed by Thomas Ostermeier, marking his first collaboration with Blanchett.
Blanchett's last stage role was in 2019, just before the pandemic.
Tickets for the six-week run will be available to the public starting October 9.
