- Mercadona will open 9:30–19:00 on December 31, Lidl and Carrefour 9:00–19:00, El Corte Inglés supermarkets 10:00–20:00, Aldi will close earlier depending on the store, and Dia will close at 16:30.
- Major supermarket chains have confirmed they will not open on January 1 across Catalonia.
- In Barcelona, Maremàgnum runs 10:00–21:00, La Maquinista and Glòries 9:00–21:00, Diagonal Mar and Triangle 9:30–22:00, while L'Illa Diagonal and several El Corte Inglés locations close at 20:00.
- Across the province, Viladecans The Style Outlets closes at 18:00 and La Roca Village at 19:00, while centers such as Màgic Badalona, Gran Via 2, Splau, Ànec Blau, Barnasud, Finestrelles, Mataró Parc, Sant Cugat and Baricentro keep usual hours.
- Regional differences persist, with La Fira de Reus keeping normal hours, Parc Central Tarragona closing at 19:00, Espai Gironès keeping normal hours, Gran Jonquera closing at 20:00 and most Eix Comercial de Lleida shops closing at 18:00.
