Overview
- Registration for CAT 2026 ends today, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM and candidates must submit applications at the official site iimcat.ac.in to be considered.
- Applicants must upload valid category certificates where applicable, choose up to five test-city preferences, and pay the nonrefundable fee before submission because category claims cannot be changed after applying.
- The application fee is ₹1,350 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and ₹2,700 for others, and NC‑OBC and EWS certificates must meet the bulletin’s issuance and validity rules to claim reservation.
- Admit cards will be available in a download window from November 4 to November 29, 2026, and the computer‑based CAT will be held on November 29 in three two‑hour sessions across about 170 cities.
- Results are expected in the first week of January 2027 with scores valid through December 31, 2027, and individual IIMs will use CAT scores alongside academics and work experience when shortlisting candidates.
