Castilla y León Expands 2025 Rental Aid With Higher Average Grant and Wider €550 Cap

The region says it will scale funding to honor every qualifying claim under a simplified 2025 call.

Overview

  • Initial allocation is €27.5 million with the ability to rise to roughly €55–59.5 million to meet demand.
  • Authorities estimate about 23,500 residents will benefit, with an average subsidy of around €2,500 per person.
  • Applications run from December 1, 2025 to January 30, 2026, with a six‑month resolution target and paperwork limited to a lease copy and bank payment receipt.
  • Eligible rent ceilings are €550 in higher‑pressure areas and €500 elsewhere, the €450 tier is eliminated, and more cities and municipalities move into the €550 bracket including Ávila, Palencia, Soria, Zamora, Ponferrada and Miranda de Ebro.
  • Income limits follow IPREM with reported thresholds from €4,200 to €25,200 and higher ceilings for large families, victims of terrorism and people with disabilities, and the aid is declared compatible with the Bono Alquiler Joven pending specific limits.
