Overview

• From July 1 to August 3, the first phase will occupy one northbound service lane between Sinesio Delgado and the Nudo Norte interchange
• On August 4, the second phase will suspend central lanes in both directions until December 2026 while maintaining traffic on side roads
• Authorities have mapped alternate routes to the M-607, M-30, A-1 and M-11 to help drivers navigate around the works
• EMT Madrid’s urban lines will retain their routes with temporary stop relocations and 31 interurban services will follow revised itineraries in the second phase
• The project will bury 675 metres of Castellana to create a 70,000 m² Parque Castellana with new bus and bike lanes by spring 2027
