• The promotional drive began on May 24 with Pritam’s song teaser “Zamaana Lage” and ramped up when the June 4 trailer revealed interlinked stories across India’s major cities.
• Ali Fazal says he had long admired Basu’s musical storytelling and portrays Akash, a vulnerable dreamer navigating urban chaos alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh’s character.
• Fatima Sana Shaikh clarified that Basu works from a full script, arrives early to block scenes and can shoot four to five major sequences a day without overtime.
