• Donegan, 27, was crowned Sept. 7 at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando and begins a yearlong reign that includes a $50,000 tuition scholarship.
• The Virginia native, a Belmont University musical theater graduate and COO of Southern Sitter LLC, also won a talent award during competition weekend.
• She performed “A Darker Shade of Blue” from Some Like It Hot in the finals’ talent round.

• Top five: winner Cassie Donegan (New York), first runner-up Sadie Schiermeyer (Texas), second runner-up Paris Richardson (Florida), third runner-up Audrey Kittila (Georgia), and fourth runner-up Emma Terry (Alabama), who also earned an additional $5,000 for placing third in the Quality of Life Award.
