Casio Launches Casiotone CT-FS1 With Real-Time ‘Feel Sync’ Harmony Correction

A phone app analyzes local audio files and uses a bundled Bluetooth adapter to remap each key press into notes that fit a song’s harmony in real time so beginners can play along with tracks they own.

Overview

  • Casio announced the CT-FS1 on November 3 and the keyboard is available now from Casio’s US store for about $399.99 and at higher prices at some retailers.
  • Feel Sync requires the companion iOS or Android app to pre-analyze a locally stored MP3, WAV, or AIFF file and then maps every key press into notes that match the song’s chords as it plays.
  • The keyboard includes the WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI/audio adapter so the phone runs the analysis and sends corrected note data to the instrument, and a dead phone battery stops the app-enabled play-along while normal keyboard play still works.
  • Under the CT-S1 hardware the CT-FS1 keeps 61 touch-responsive full-size keys, Casio’s AiX sound engine with 61 tones and 64-note polyphony, built-in speakers, and a split mode that lets one zone use Feel Sync while the other stays conventional for duet use.
  • Casio positions the CT-FS1 as a living-room, beginner-friendly instrument that prioritizes instant, enjoyable play-along experiences rather than formal technique teaching, with tradeoffs including no streaming service support, a monochrome key finish, and no top-panel screen.
