Casey Mears Sets Truck Series Debut With MBM at Martinsville, Eyes 600th NASCAR Start

The entry would count as his 600th national-series start if he qualifies.

Mears will drive MBM Motorsports’ No. 69 Ford F-150 in the Slim Jim 200 at Martinsville with The Pit Stop Diecasts as sponsor.
His 599th career national-series start is slated for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup race at Talladega, where he is making his 492nd Cup start.
The Truck appearance marks Mears’ first start in the series after a 2001 debut in NASCAR and more than 100 Xfinity events.
Mears called the Martinsville effort "pretty special," while MBM owner Carl Long lauded 600 starts as a rare milestone for any driver.
The Pit Stop Diecasts will also back the No. 66 Cup car as a major associate at Phoenix, and MBM’s truck has seen multiple drivers in 2025 with a best finish of 19th.
