Overview
- The FNLS reported that about 50 alleged porros armed with sticks and machetes stormed the Casa del Estudiante Nicolaita, claiming injuries, a student held inside, and the dispossession of a vehicle.
- The student house denied any external incursion, describing the events as internal decisions by its base and accusing FNLS members of intimidation and risky vehicle maneuvers outside.
- Reporters on scene around 11 p.m. observed 70 to 100 youths leaving the premises and confirmed a vehicle was used to block Avenida Madero and was vandalized near the house.
- Casa leaders said residents democratically expelled a man who had lived there since 2015 for serious breaches, alleging drugs and alcohol in an academic area and the conversion of a cubicle for personal use.
- The Consejo Comunal de Arantepacua defended its student members and said it has images to support claims of prior aggressions, while authorities had not issued a public determination.
