Overview

• Nextracker will supply over 1.5 GW of tracking equipment, including NX Horizon and NX Horizon-XTR trackers plus TrueCapture control systems, for four Casa dos Ventos solar projects.
• The agreement covers utility-scale plants—Babilônia Sul (117 MW), Babilônia Centro (226 MW), Seriemas (540 MW) and Rio Brilhante (680 MW)—in Bahia and Mato Grosso do Sul.
• Three sites—Babilônia Sul, Babilônia Centro and Seriemas—will deploy all-terrain NX Horizon-XTR trackers to cut grading and earthworks on undulating landscapes.
• TrueCapture yield management uses advanced sensors and machine learning to adjust tracker angles in real time for optimized energy generation under dynamic lighting and terrain conditions.
• The deal marks Casa dos Ventos’ first utility-scale solar rollout and underpins its strategy to integrate solar with wind assets at shared grid connections.
