Overview
- Official visits began August 4 with a first group including Mayor Inés Rey, historian Alfredo Vigo Trasancos, BNG leader Francisco Jorquera and Rubén Centeno.
- Guided tours run every Monday from 9:00 to 13:00 in five hourly sessions restricted to five visitors per session.
- Bookings must be made through an online portal at least 24 hours in advance and all photography, audio and video recordings are banned.
- The BIC designation in October 2023 legally obliges the Franco family to open the mansion at least four times monthly after a firm €3,000 fine by the Xunta de Galicia.
- Visitors can now view preserved architectural elements such as original Hospital de la Caridad staircases and Gothic-style doors from the Hostal de los Reis Católicos.
