Carolina Panthers Add RB Rico Dowdle and LB Christian Rozeboom to Roster

The Carolina Panthers signed running back Rico Dowdle to a one-year deal worth up to $6.5 million, following his 1,079-yard season with the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.
Dowdle, a North Carolina native, will complement Chuba Hubbard in the Panthers’ backfield, providing depth as Jonathon Brooks recovers from ACL surgery.
The Panthers released Miles Sanders earlier this week after failing to reach a contract restructure agreement, creating an opportunity for Dowdle's addition.
On defense, the Panthers signed linebacker Christian Rozeboom, who recorded 135 tackles for the Rams in 2024 and is known for his reliability and tackling consistency.
These moves aim to strengthen both the offense and defense as the Panthers build around quarterback Bryce Young for the 2025 season.
