- The UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television will receive more than 140 honors from Burnett’s seven-decade career along with select memorabilia.
- The collection includes seven Emmys, six Golden Globes, a Grammy, a Tony, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Kennedy Center Honor and multiple Peabody Awards.
- A rotating display of the awards and ephemera is planned for the Freud Playhouse lobby on campus.
- The Carol Burnett Endowed Undergraduate Scholarship in Music Theater will give one Ray Bolger Program student a substantial annual award to help cover tuition and fees.
- First-year theater major Alexa Cruz, a member of the class of 2029, has been named the inaugural scholarship recipient.
