• Carnival said Collins texted a Care Team member that she was safe and did not want to be found or contacted, adding she appears to have taken deliberate action to be alone.
• Authorities reported surveillance showing her disembarking with a gray backpack while wearing a Hawaiian-style shirt and cargo shorts.
• Officials said she had her identification, left some baggage and personal items aboard, and left a cash gratuity with a thank-you note for her stateroom attendant.
