• Carnival livestreamed the July 19 grand-opening ceremony on its Facebook page as Celebration Key welcomed its first guests
• The island features five immersive zones, including a 10-story Suncastle water-slide hub, an adults-only lagoon with the world’s largest swim-up bar, a family splash-pad lagoon, an infinity-pool beach club and a Bahamian cultural market
• Four Galveston-based ships—Dream, Jubilee, Legend and Miracle—will call on Celebration Key for seven- and eight-day itineraries starting in September
• Celebration Key is the cornerstone of Carnival’s Paradise Collection strategy and part of its multi-year investment in private-island destinations
• Carnival projects the island to host about two million guests in its first year and to deliver significant revenue for Grand Bahama’s economy
