Overview

  • Carnival Rewards will debut on June 1, 2026, giving current VIFP members a year to use existing benefits before the program replaces the legacy system.
  • Members will earn both Carnival Rewards points and status stars on cruise fares, onboard purchases and everyday charges with the new Carnival Rewards Mastercard.
  • All VIFP statuses will transfer to the new program through May 31, 2028, while Platinum and Diamond members keep their tiers until May 31, 2032.
  • The tier structure consolidates into four levels—Red, Gold, Platinum and Diamond—with status earned over two years and maintained for the following two-year cycle.
  • Several current perks, including collectible pins, complimentary arcade credits and specialty-restaurant meal benefits, will be discontinued under Carnival Rewards.
